Ammar is the Principal of the school that is the focus of the film and he discusses the difficulties the children face given the post-earthquake situation at the school and home.

Kamala is the wife of Ammar and the host who provided meals that were, as the filmmaker says, 'very delicious'. Kamala gives us some of the most poignant insights into the struggles within the village and her hopes for the future.

Sudarshan is the son of the Principal and through him we get some insight into the difficulties of trying to learn. Despite the circumstances, through Sundarshan we see the joyfulness of children in the village.

Pabitra is the mother of Ammar. She has a great sense of humour but it masks the concerns she has for her family and the burden of seeing a lifetime of progress only to be destroyed by the earthquake.

Kavita was relief coordinator for a number of NGOs and independent donors following the earthquake. Kavita coordinated Logged On's efforts in the Tanahun District and oversaw the installation of water filtration systems in the Gorkha District.

Hari provides an overview of the situation regarding schools in the Gorkha District. Hari is responsible for all aspects of primary and secondary education in the Gorkha and gave permission for Logged On to provide assistance to four schools in his District.

Sudip coordinated earthquake relief efforts for a number of organisations including the UNDP. His extensive experience with working with the government, NGOs and INGOs, his unrelenting efforts and skillful negotiation were the key elements in ensuring the success of Logged On's assistance program. Sudip coordinated the logistics for filming in the earthquake effected communities in 2015.

Ves Raj was a foundation member of the Logged On Foundation Nepal team. We see him in a number of spots on the film and he expresses his boundless joy on the completion of the first Foundation project in Nepal.

Shiva is a retired teacher in the village where Logged On first started. He understands the impact of education for helping to improve the future prospects of children having spent a career in education.

Anjan migrated to Australia from Nepal to pursue postgraduate qualifications in engineering and has given his time probono to help with the translation subtitling.

Mark is the CEO and founder of the Logged On Foundation. His love of the Himalayan region began in 1997 and has made numerous return journeys to travel and trek in the mountains of Northern India, Tibet and Nepal. He is a social anthropologist by training, has a passion for digital technologies, and is an intrepid traveler with a commitment to philanthropy. Since 2011, Mark has been sharing his enthusiasm for all things Nepal and creating pathways for travelers, adventurers and volunteers to spend time in the villages where Logged On is working.

Bruce has spent his career in higher education. He is the Chairperson of the Logged On Foundation’s Board of Directors, a consultant in international education and an Adjunct Associate Professor. He has presented and published widely and has extensive editorial experience.

Kabin is currently studying in Australia and has given his time probono to help with the translation subtitling.

We would like to thank Kutumba for allowing us to use some of their traditional Nepali music in our film! Kutumba is a folk instrumental ensemble group having come together for the preservation of their culture and art. Kutumba wishes to spread love and joy of Nepali folk music throughout the world.

In 2013, Mindy spent a number of weeks in Nepal on Logged On's volunteer program teaching at a rural school. Mindy was filmed giving a farewell speech to the school and she captures the essence of what visitors to Nepal feel about the people and the country.

Raju was the founding Chairperson of the committee managing the Astam Computer Centre which was Logged On's first project in Nepal. Raju speaks in the film about the problems with the quality of education in government schools in rural Nepal.

During our meetings and interviews with the School Management Committee of the school where we spent most of our time filming, Raj came up and wanted to say something. He gave one of the most heart-wrenching interviews in the film, where he asks 'what can we give people who help us? People are poor, Nepal is poor.' He then gives us his answer.

Sita Ram shares the difficulties his school faced following the earthquake. During the time of filming, the school was constructing temporary classrooms made out for bamboo. Students were taking classes in the existing buildings that had their walls demolished and were dangerously unstable.

Kamala is the Chairperson of the Management Committee of the school where we spent most of our time filming. Kamala speaks about the difficulties the children are facing in the school when they are trying to learn. She was asked to speak about the issues faced by the school and especially with her children who go to the school. Her reply was that she felt that all of the children are like her children and she worries about all of them.

In an interview with Narhari, one of the teachers from the school, he asks the filmmaker 'why do you want to help this school'. His question reflects the community wanting to know about the filmmakers intention and honesty.

Niraj accompanied the filmmaker back into a community in Gorkha and helped to document the issues they were facing. He not only translated what was being said word-for-word, but was able to communicate deeper sentiments that went beyond what was said in words during interviews.
